What you can expect
Hands Together consists of 10 free creative workshops held at The Met Theatre in Bury.
These sessions are open to anyone over the age of 18 years, especially those who want to explore themes of identity, cultural heritage, and community cohesion through creative expression.
During the workshops, you’ll develop storytelling and puppetry skills, learning how to bring your experiences to life in an engaging and accessible way.
Whether you're new to storytelling and puppetry or have some performance experience, our supportive facilitators will guide you through the process in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
These workshops are a safe space to connect, collaborate, and create together, fostering meaningful conversations and stronger community bonds.

A legacy of Stories
At the end of the project, you will have the opportunity to perform a collaborative puppetry piece.
But don't worry if you are not a performer!
If you feel you would enjoy the workshops, but don't want to actually perform, our leaders will perform your piece on your behalf to ensure you are still able to take part and tell your story.
